Wow, you borrowed 6 grand to a friend and they never paid you back? I imagine that you two arent friends any more.

 

well it was 6grand over a little while until he got back on his feet after a bad motorcycle wreck and loss of income from his job. the problem was when my income at the end of last year began to decline and i asked him to pay me back he had still yet to earn any new income and had no idea how he was gonna do it.

he has since packed and moved to live with his brother in california rent free,,, he still claims he will pay me back, but i have no delusion of such things.

 

i guess i would say we are still friends. i dont hold grudges. but things certainly are not the same once you have felt cheated by a close friend.

 

I know EXACTLY what you mean, it wasnt with money but I know exactly what you mean.

 

I learned my lesson when I was married to my first wife, leaveraged to the gunnels...now I pay cash for everything...she is still leaveaged to the gunnels.
If I dont have the cash I dont need it.
