I went with Rock on 4x4 Meetup group on Saturday on an unexplored trail. It was a road that leads up to Tores and Longs peak(both 14Ters). The trail was Grizzly Gulch. Coming back down the Rover got hung up on an large rock and actually turned the rock while attempting to roll over it....Took about 2 hours to winch forward...while closely avoiding a tree on the passenger right rear. No damage but got 3\4" close to a tree on the rear alpine sky light. Slow methodical care was taken in each step of recovery to ensure no damage to people or vehicle. Moses the Boston Terrier was my partner in crime. Check the Flickr slideshow.

If you live in or around Denver you should joint either of these groups. So I'm not the only lonely Land Rover. We have to hold our own on all the Jeepers creapers guys. Currently I'm the only Discovery. Come on out!

Looks like a great day! Love the pics! Even though it never looks as bad or difficult in pics as in person...lol But it's just as much fun figuring a way out of trouble as it is getting into it
