What did you do with your DII today?

Well I actually got to use the Land Rover for what it was intended for today. The wife and I packed up and took my son on his third birthday to a drive in Zoo for a little safari. We had a blast letting the animals poke their heads in to get food and let us pet them. The Rover did great and I was just able to put around mostly just idling. Never got over 200 degrees even on a hot day. The crazy thing was that two Zebras decided to get into it and one of them kicked the passenger side door. Didn't really dent the door just scuffed it but it apparently hit hard enough to break the window regulator. So more work to be done, the part will get here Wednesday. Enjoy the Pics!

"How's the dent happen."
"Zebra kicked the door."
You don't need to tell them that it didn't actually happen in Africa.

I finally got to work on my 2001 Disco since i got off of work early.
- Vaccuumed out air filer box and inserted Wix #46798 air filter
- Sprayed MAF sensor and contacts with electrical contact cleaner while in idle
- Poured Berryman's B-12 in crankcase, ran in idle for 10 minutes and drained oil
- Added 6 qts of Castrol GTX High Mileage synthetic 10w-40 oil
- installed K&N HP-2004 oil filter
While doing this, I got to crawl under the truck to see what other areas needing repair/replacement and to familiarize myself with other part locations.
I also replaced both of my window washer jets ($38 on ebay) since the plastic was fragile and broke apart from the exteme heat of the engine.
