What did you do with your DII today?

We got a light dusting of snow last night (10 inches), so roads were sloppy with salt and slush. Washer hadn't been working , but never had a chance to check it out. However, since I'd removed the stock front bumper, for replacement, the washer bottle was now hanging out in the plain view...and it was empty.
Added washer fluid...bingo-bango...clean windshield.
My type of fix...lol.
Side note...the 01 plowed through two foot drifts easily and handled "getting out of the ruts" better than expected, considering the length of the wheelbase. My old Jeep would've been doing donuts after doing some of the same maneuvers the Discovery made today.

Today I merged "Myrtle" (my Disco) into traffic from a dead stop and I chirped the tires when I romped on the gas. My wife looked at me in shock and asked if it was Myrtle that made the noise. I said "I thinks so" and then we high fived each other.
I'm sure when I drive Myrtle tomorrow I'll have error codes and fault lights up the wazooo and also be 5 gallons less of gas from that experience.

Bertha (my Disco) is a make-shift sleigh this time of year. There has been SO much snow lately that it makes traveling an adventure - never know where I'm going to end up next or if I should be there - haha.

Cleaners do not work. You have to sand them. Generally starting with 1000 grit and working your way up to 2000 grit, finish it off with rubbing compound, then polishing compound.

Your headlights look great, but they're not likely to stay that way. The reason that they turn yellow is because the protective coating on them from the factory gets worn off and the UV rays from the sun then make them discolored. The lenses need to have a coating on them or they will just turn yellow again. You can wax them every week which might work, or you can just sand them with 600 grit then spray them with a quality clearcoat and they will stay clear for a long time.
