Question Windshield wiper hitting A pillar seal on the left side

Help ,
windshield wiper on my 2005 LR3 seems to be hitting the seal on the A-pillar on the left side. It makes a noise everytime the viper blade reach the far left position. Anybody knows how to fix this?

This might be a stupid ? but have you checked to make sure you have the right size wiper blades?

I have an '08 LR3 with this same problem. Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but has this been an issue for anyone else?

Loosen the bolt under the cap on the wiper arm and adjust it to fall "park" lower on the windshield. If you've never adjusted a wiper arm this way, it can be maddening to get it loose. Perhaps check YouTube for some helpful videos.

Actually one easy method is to leave the nut threaded on a bit. Then put a towel or something under the arm close to the attaching point. Now hit the nut with a hammer. Obviously dont hit hard and dont hit the glass. A couple taps and the wiper is free to move.

Reminds me of my favorite Mark Twain:

“When I was a boy of fourteen, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be twenty-one, I was astonished at how much he had learned in seven years.”

I have bent handle on puller like that. Had to resort to a two jaw puller from Sears with ability to put hex socket and ratcheting arm on center rod, in order to take windshield wiper arms off. That's how seized my wiper arms were.
