Windshield wiper hitting A pillar seal on the left side

windshield wiper on my 2005 LR3 seems to be hitting the seal on the A-pillar on the left side. It makes a noise everytime the viper blade reach the far left position. Anybody knows how to fix this?

Loosen the bolt under the cap on the wiper arm and adjust it to fall "park" lower on the windshield. If you've never adjusted a wiper arm this way, it can be maddening to get it loose. Perhaps check YouTube for some helpful videos.
Actually one easy method is to leave the nut threaded on a bit. Then put a towel or something under the arm close to the attaching point. Now hit the nut with a hammer. Obviously dont hit hard and dont hit the glass. A couple taps and the wiper is free to move.

I have bent handle on puller like that. Had to resort to a two jaw puller from Sears with ability to put hex socket and ratcheting arm on center rod, in order to take windshield wiper arms off.That's how seized my wiper arms were.
