Default I know, Another Tire Q

What are the majority of people rolling on for rubber? Since my Disco1 is a DD and may see light off road use (Nothing like what most people do with Disco's) looking to see what tires you guys run or any suggestions you guys might have. I know my father drives on Michelin LTX's but thats on his Suburban.

I heard good reviews about the General Grabber AT2's. Try to check them out.

If you rarely go offroad, you might want to look at an on road tire. My D2 came with a set of General Grabber HTS, and they were plenty competent.

Are you lifted??
I run 235/85/16 Toyo Open Country ATII tires on my Old Man Emu lifted D1 that I daily drive.
LT235/85 R16 Toyo Open Country A/T II Tire Item-352660
My brother owned the truck before me and did some light offroading. The tires did well and they're very quiet on the pavement.

MI have Toyo M/T's on mine, and they work out to 33x10.5x16 on a 3 inch lift with 2 inch wheel spacers. The tires are great, have good traction, work well deflated, and are quiet in the road, but they are far too big and can rub. I saw a video in the new Hankook off road tires after my tire guy recommended them. The video uses a disco as the platform. The Hankooks won. I had to be a smartass and get the Toyos.

I've got a stock 95 RRC. I'm using 205/80R 16 Pirelli Scorpions ATR. So far they are very good in the snow, quiet on the highway and I get excellent MPG. Not to mention they do well off road. I had 235/75R 16 Cooper Discoveries snow tread. They were a good tire, good in the snow, ok off road and smooth on the highway. But I wanted better gas millage.

See, the problem i having is that i will probably never hit snow or anything higher then the lugs of the rim. Mainly highway and plus California weather, ya don't see much other then great weather or rain, thats about it, lol
