I'm also looking for the "regular" mudflaps - just the rear. Again, my dealer cannot find the order code.
The Wheel Arch Extensions are option code DF0WE. As of 2/25 it appears the availability was unknown.

The mud flaps do not appear to be a port install option. My sales rep said they had been ordering parts whenever they could. They quoted me $345.50 for the front installed and $290.00 installed for the classic mud flaps.

I just got word that my MY22 XS Defender was built yesterday! Dealer delivery is still listed as 7/2, but hoping they can pull that in...

Somehow the XS now has the option of adding an E-Diff, so I'm a bit concerned I didn't get it. How important is that to all of you in terms of driving on gravel/snow? I won't be truly offroading, but definitely like to get out there when camping, skiing, etc.

When did you place your order? My my21 HSE order that was placed in early February wont get built till next month. Switching to the XS required a new order and bumped me out a couple months. Im scratching my head to understand how a my22 model variant is getting built in the second week of production when there had to be a back log of my21 orders that dont allow model variant switches?

Regarding the E Diff, your defender will still be very capable, but if you were going for more extreme rock crawling you would be more inclined to need it. For the XS model its a stand alone option as you cant order the off road package ( I think because the XS includes the domestic plug socket standard).

MY HSE order had the off road pack and when I switched to the XS my sales rep included the off road tires and the elec diff on the order as individual line items.

I placed the order on Jan 29th for a '21 and then it looks like the '22 was "sold" in the system on 3/11.

I'm a bit annoyed that we don't have the E-Diff on the order to be honest, as it was on the original '21 build we submitted (which had the Off Road pack). Hopefully doesn't impact snow performance too heavily, which is where we want the Defender to shine... We had no idea it wasn't included until the builder went up a few days back.

Did your dealer reach out to you and ask if you wanted to swap to the XS or confirm the my22 build? I am wondering if my sales rep just reset my order as a my22 once it was confirmed the build would not be a my21. My sales rep was unaware that you could not edit the build to other models and it was not till mid March did he find out we had to create a whole new order.

If you are not happy with the lack of e diff you should just start a new order. You might wait a month or two extra but you will have exactly what you want and not be upset because your dealer messed up the order.

They played it close to the vest on the '21 and told me that "orders won't go in until the March batch". When we next chatted, it turned out I was getting a '22, but we chose to update from the X-Dynamic to the XS which was very similar in terms of spec. It's a very high volume dealer, so I think they may have put us in their early allocation.

Given how long new cars are taking to be delivered we'll stick with the standard differentials. Spoke to our guy this morning and he wasn't at all concerned about it in snow and gravel roads camping without it and it sounds like you're of the same opinion! Our RRS has 225k miles on it, so I don't think we could wait in either case

There have been several YouTube reviews (TFL, carwow, Smorgasbord) of Defenders without the rear locking diffs seeming to manage hills and loose or uneven surfaces without issue. It definitely relies more on the electronic traction control to limit wheel spin more than most vehicles. In really extreme/demanding situations missing the locking rear diff might be an issue, but I wouldn't expect gravel roads, snow, etc to cause a problem.

I think you have a small typo--I have the code as DF9WE.
In my order they are listed in the Notes section as VPLEP0380. The port installed accessories are not guaranteed, just depends on if they are in stock when your car arrives.

How right you were. Got notified by my dealer that my build with cost about $5k more, and that I have less than 24 hours to lock it in. It's one thing that price changed, it's quite another to be strong armed on short notice given they have had time with this info. Also the paperwork they have shows a June 9 date for last amendment possible. Not sure why the super short deadline to confirm my order, but I'm taking my deposit back.

Interesting. My 110 P400 X-Dynamic SE is scheduled to be built 5/7, but also delivered 7/2. Sounds like they're holding yours to put it on the same ship as mine. My dealer is in Atlanta.
