You can't, the 110 still offers the standard base model, the 90 does not for 23MY

Yeah, it's very strange. The disco is starting MY23 now, even though it's only been out for about 4 years, it's on its 7th model year. For the Defender, 2020 was only out for like 6 months, 2021 for like 3 months, like wtf JLR. Time Traveling sob's lol. Love my '22 90 tho.

when building the base MY23 110 versus the base MY22 110 - I noticed the following:

-you can no longer get the LED halo lights
-you can no longer get the full digital dash
-the tow hitch is $25 more
-the price is overall ~$1200 higher than a similar MY22

Got a call from my dealer today to let me know that my 90 build is now $4k more as a ‘23. I’m going to sleep on it but I’m pretty sure I’m out.

I don't think my '22 base 110 went into production as it was a January delivery. Conflicted now as the premium LED headlights appear to be removed the '23 configurator for the base cars. Aesthetically I think they are essential, so will legitimately consider cancelling. I'm not overly particular, especially on this build because it's intentionally low-optioned, but that one was really important to me (unlike the interactive display).

Damn.

So seems like ‘22 is your perfect spec since it includes the premium DRL. So why are you considering cancelling? Unless you don’t have a build slot yet and you’re just in the order bank? Even if you’re in the order bank, I would ask your Sales Guide to contact the district JLR manager to see if you can take a slot where someone decided to defer to MY23.

Yep, totally satisfied with the '22 spec. Jumped into the order bank in August and we submitted the order 9/13. I was under the impression that a submitted order is irrelevant at this point - am I wrong in assuming that if the car isn't built, it's getting converted to a '23? Tell me I'm wrong and that a submitted order is equivalent to a spec lock!

So definition of submitted order is pretty loose. But I would ask your dealer if you have an estimated build date confirmed. If so, then you will be locked in. If not and you’re still in the order bank…it will be converted to MY23 without you intervening.

You still get that crap Alcantara steeringwheel.. ( maybe you can downgrade to leather for FREE)

Anyway I like my Dinamica Interior, they skipped that for MY23 on S & SE trim.
They also skipped the Robustec console finishers for the X Dynamic, now an option same price as the woods
