Default Changes to screen display

I have a V8 which has the digital dash and the 11.4" screen. Since I bought the truck in January, the screens would always show a little shutdown sequence when you turn off the vehicle. The display on the 11.4" screen reminded me of Q-Bert, with the design that would appear/disappear and then go to black. All of a sudden, that sequence does not appear anymore. The dash still does that same thing its always done, but the main screen just continues to show the main menu until it shuts down sometime after you leave the vehicle.
Has anyone else noticed this change? It's obviously not a big deal, but I can't figure out what caused the change.

Part of the latest software update was the ability of the Pivi screen to remain on for a longer period after shutting off the car. I suspect that the screen is still doing the animations but you're not there to see it.

I noticed this too. Mine still does the Qbert polygons on startup, and then on shutdown it eventually does it if I sit in the car for awhile. (but not right when I get out of the car).

One of the most recent PIVI over the air software updates touted a "revised shutdown experience" and this is I think the reason.
