So looks the same, except for that thermometer looking logo at the bottom and of course the missing LR stamp.

Nice match! Looked up the symbols on their website and this is what it states about the thermometer logo:

Ah interesting. Seems like a nice feature though.
Living in Florida, I take all the help I can get when it comes to keeping a car cool.
But we also drive a RRC with zero tint on original windows and an AC that hardly works.
So if this new glass does in fact not have that feature, I'll survive!

As you state it could have it w/o the logo & their claim about gas milage seems like a stretch . Learned something new in looking up the symbols - our glass was made around the same time as the "25" near the bottom is the year made and the dots before and after represent Month/Day

Adding a data point here. After 10 months with no windshield problems on my now totaled 2025 P400, I got a stone chip on the replacement 2025 V8 on day 4 of ownership. The chip immediately turned into a 2’ long crack when Safelite started the chip repair.

So I put in a claim for replacement, and my insurance only authorized aftermarket glass. Man, is that windshield a piece of crap. HUD is blurry and distorted, the heating elements cause headlight diffraction, and there’s a lot of wind noise.

I complained loudly to USAA/Safelite, and after the manager took a picture of the HUD, they’ve now authorized OEM replacement. So by the time I’ve owned the car for 4 week,s it will have had 2 windshield replacements.
