What does this one do? Benefit of 4 mics?

Enable All Microphones
EUCD-126 Microphone = Four Microphones (Two Front & Two Rear)
Standard: Microphone (Driver Only)

 

Just what it says. This setting enables all 4 mics in the headliner. Otherwise only the single mic above the driver seat.

 

right, sorry I meant how is that advantageous? These mics are used for Bluetooth phone calls? Or? How is having four better than one? Hoping someone who turned on four could report back what the improvement is. Wondering if 4 means more road or wind noise—maybe not better. Or maybe means person on phone can hear backseat passengers better.

or maybe I’m way off base and these mics are used for something else entirely.

womder why LR installed 4 but turn on one. Seems wasteful. Do they turn on all 4 in some countries (or trim levels) but not others?

I turned on all 4. I take meetings during my commute. The advantage of 4 mics is that the back seat and passengers are more clearly heard in the calls.

What happened to me is that now my kids can be heard clearly questioning the decisions being made in the meetings. Sooo..... I turned them off and went back to factory.

So - do you travel with your work group and have lots of zoom/teams meetings? If so, this might be a feature you want on.

 

I just received a G4 - did you find any information on the CCF modifications for ACC?

 

I still haven't got round to returning my G3. I'm nothing if not slow. I'm hoping it's similar to the info in the ACC thread with the jetPro.

 

The G4 tool successfully activated ACC with the following CCF settings:

MultiCAN-580 PTCruiseFitment: ACC with Queue Assist fitted
MultiCAN-712 ACC Lead Car Distance Display: Fitted
MultiCAN-809 ACC Stop Gap Setting: Fitted

It initially resulted in the “Emergency braking assistance not available” message, but that went away after restarting the engine a couple of times.

Any idea how to activate All Terrain Progress Control and ATPC2?
