Did ACC activation but couldn’t get Emergency Braking Assistance warning to clear even after 6 engine starts? Reset CCF entirely but still won’t clear… any ideas? Just need more driving and engine restarts from “sleep” or something else I should do?

Needed 2 resets to PIVI for the app to appear in PIVI and a full car shut-down to clear the "Emergency Brake Assist Unavailable" error.
I still need to try it out to see if it functions before adding it to post 1. Not sure on the process or how best to test.
I attempted this today on MY23 75th…No joy. Got the app, but just showed the icon in the middle of the screen. Nothing else ever worked. Reset Pivi a couple times. Shut down car a couple times. Still no joy.
would love to see anyone else to get this to work.

Driving around and it cleared. I’ll try enabling ACC again when I get time and then give it an actual day of driving to clear.

That error seems to crop up for a variety of reasons unrelated to GAP. I've had it pop up when I was tackling a bit of a hairy gravelly ascent one day. I bailed on the ascent and reversed out of it. A bit of a code brown event. Emergency braking unavailable appeared and cleared itself after a restart and a few deep breaths. .

Try the app when you're out and about driving. I have a theory, (granted I have lots of terrible ones) that it needs an actual setting while driving to break its slumber and turn on. Might take a day or two to learn. Mine activated the following day after install. Also make sure your park assist settings are turned on in PIVI. They don't default to on after activation. Also I did the semi auto and then full auto CCF changes for it to appear. Not sure if it makes a difference.
I do think it's there. Mine is a MY22. Nothing weird or unusual about it.
Hey, have a power supply question (and if this was answered in another thread please let me know, a search didnt' reveal it).
What are you using to power your vehicle while doing the Gap IID pivi/module updating?
I know for most pivi & module updates, the engine needs to be off, however initial "start" preparation can pull up to 40 amps - so battery life ( and the window to update without undervolt ) seems pretty small after that.

The activation process with Gen 4 seems slower than Gen 3 but there seems to be a lot more going on. It still only takes a few minutes for ACC and park assist to activate. No problems with power. I suppose if you're concerned a trickle charger would be a good fail safe.
If the worst case happened and you got disconnected mid update you have the vehicle reset option in GAP.
