Gavin, I couldn't tell from the video if you got it working? BTW, what model year is your Defender? I have a 2020 and tried the park assist with the 72 hour DoIP software and now have an IID G4. I've tried all of the CCF variations that I have collected from multiple forum threads and can only get the icon in my apps, but nothing else. That's after running DADC relearn and the other service routines. I'm curious if anyone has it working on a 2020.

 

My cinematography could clearly do with some work. Yes. Park assist fully functional.

I thought it didn’t work at first but once it search for a spot and finds some then you press brake and start lights up.

just used it in my drive. It reversed in nicely.

I tapped the brake and it cancelled it. Press brake and press resume. Worked well.

I have used it now a few times.
it will reverse park into a bay and parallel park.

only completed the former. Parallel parking I aborted as there was a car approaching and I want no risks to other folks’ vehicles.

I have no reason to think it won’t work as flawlessly as bay park assist.

I have also added the settings to post one as they are confirmed to be correct and work.

Edit: Confirmed parallel parking assist also works just fine. Overall I think this is a useful and usable feature. Seems reliable and accurate. Not sure I'd chance it in poor light conditions where shadows might confuse the cameras but in good light it's a go.

 

Much more interested now that it works in the driveway.

 

Works on my New Zealand MY22 110 P400. Love it. It moves very quickly and was nerve-racking the first few times but you can slow it with the brake without cancelling the parking manoeuvre.

 

 

Very nice. Cool to see it working. With that said it does not work on mine. Model year 23 110. Emergency braking warning does not go away and when I select park assist all I get is a warning that my sensors need cleaned even though they have been. Also earlier today I got a warming that I was in two wheel drive only and to drive with care. Going to confirm my setting again but am pretty sure I will be setting it all back to factory settings.

one question are you making the changes with a G4 or G3?
