Ok, I tried those recommendations for activating configurable dynamic mode.
‘I do now have the helmet. I also added it to my Home Screen.
But when press it it just blinks and nothing happens.
I can touch the two quick buttons , one for exhaust and the other is auto start stop which I already have it programmed to stay off, I also already o-need the exhaust valves.
It is not letting me get to the suspension to put that in comfort.

Also tried shutting off the brake hold, it no longer says hold on the 2nd brake stab, but it still puts the hold on, just no longer says the hold is on.
Now I did notice if the seatbelt is not buckled it will say park in red letters, at the top of the screen instead of hold in green script.

I guess I will try going through it all again.
‘Not real sure why it only partially made my changes. I had good success with other changes I have made.

I was able to add the configurable dynamic screen, and can select between comfort and dynamic successfully, did have some issue initially but a reset got it working. May need to contact the GAP tool folks on the exhaust valve stuff?

‘Well apparently with these latest mods it needed more then 2 full power on off cycles, to get all the changes to take effect.
‘When I went back out to garage to try again, I decided to just check my dynamic mode again. Sure enough it now went into a new screen when I pressed the helmet on my Home Screen.
I got this screen, this would have been the 3rd full power cycle. However that setup button only went to blank screen.

I decided to back it out of the garage and test the brake hold again. Sure enough, no more brake hold function.

So based on all that changing after a 3rd full power cycle I desired to go for a 4th full power cycle.
‘Still nothing new .
I have noticed even once everything has finally powered off the door lock lights stay lit.
‘Thought that was a bit odd.

Next I decided to go for a 5th full power cycle.
That 5th full power cycle, must have did the trick, dynamic mode setup button finally worked.
‘I now have the configurable screen I was hoping for. All seems to be working now.

Is there a GAP setting that allows for adjustment to the TPMS pressure thresholds.
‘It cooled down here about 25-30 degrees yesterday, found out this morning when the right rear dropped bellow 37 psi it tripped the TPMS warning that stayed on even after driving a mile or two and Al the tire were up in the 38-39 range.
My new tires have significantly higher load rating then the stock tires, I would like my target psi to be 36 or maybe 38 psi.
Being it tripped a light just under 37 and didn’t cancel warning light when it came back up, that tells me the target psi must be up in the 40s.
You normally get range from target psi +/- 10-15% 5-10 psi.

switch to light load setting. This will resolve your problem and give you a targetvpsi you want.

That’s great info thanks!
Is that in the gap or some other settings?

Has anyone lost their turn signal clicking in the midst of park assist or tow assist?

I’m trying to activate park assist and tow assist to see if they’ll work on my car — 2021 SE, so unlikely but wanted to test since some have been able to get it to work.

None of the respective settings are visibly available. I’ll let it sit overnight and see if there are any changes.

This happened tonight and I’m wondering if it’s because my battery is weak from not driving often, or if it’s a part of a CCF setting? Double checked all values and everything is correct.

I drove the car for about 30min, parked/locked for 25, and tried again but still no turn signal sound (I kind of like it/need it)

BTW - turning off the fake engine noise made a huge difference for me. I didn’t realize how much they were generating even when there was no audio.

What is this fake engine noise I hear folks taking about.

no doubt I can find it in forum but a quick link or pointer would be useful.

seems like a completely dumb as rocks option baked in.

Not sure but I think Ford started this trend augmented exhaust sound via the stereo speakers. They started doing that to combat all the complaints about their crappy engine note from their little turbo v6 trucks they just were not sounding as good as the V8s Ford was trying to get rid of.

Seems it is now pretty much common place.
I don’t know that it happens to v8 cars and trucks, but it is pretty common with 4 and 6 banger turbo cars and trucks.
