Every time I connect my IIDtool V4 to the car I got an fault for the lower vanes not detected.
Right I just unplugged and isolated the connector...
Found the solution in changing the CCF MultiCAN-631 GrillActiveVanes - Upper and Lower Grill Active Vanes fitted
Changed into : Upper Grill Active Vanes fitted only
I’ve read that the G4 version can set ACC and am wondering if anyone has been successful doing this on a model year 2020 defender. I’ve seen lots of comments on newer defenders but just wanted to check before pulling the trigger on purchasing the gap IID tool

Hi guys, I just found a cool new shortcut which may be on the 2025 update. I tried a bunch of combinations but I think it's 882 to enable the side bars on the ends of the screen. This way you can quickly adjust the AC temp, fan, drive mode, seat temps, volume. You also need to enable a few setting that if I recall were grouped in the 895 and you can choose what short cuts you want displayed such as window defrost etc. Those are called soft buttons.
I saw a lot of chatter about the dynamic mode on here. Mostly about turning it on for the P400s.
What if you have V8/P525.
Mine has dynamic mode already, but best I can tell, my dynamic mode is not something I can edit or adjust like I see the guys on here doing with their 400s.
I want to adjust my suspension to comfort/normal but keep the rest of dynamic mode as it is. Is that possible on a 2023 P525.
Am I am just not finding the right screen to make the adjustments, or do I need to change anything with the GAP tool to make mine where I can edit the individual components within dynamic mode.
I don't seem to have access to this screen on my P525's dynamic mode.

I don't have the CCF variables to change on hand right now, but if you make sure that the same variables are changed as the guys with the P400, the Dynamic-i app will show up and you can configure the Dynamic mode. I was able to add it to my P525 and a few of the variables were already set, but I made sure to change the others as well.
Actually, I just pulled them up. The ones on the left of the '->' are the original setting and the ones on the right were what I changed them to:Dynamic Mode
EUCD-129 Terrain Response Fitment
Auto Terrain Response/JDO, Dynamic (Currently) -> Auto Terrain Response Dynamic & Configurable Dynamic Mode
EUCD-245 Dynamic-I
Dynamic-i Not Fitted - > Dynamic-I Content with Configurable Dynamic Mode Screen
MultiCAN-605 ConfigDynamicMode
Not Fitted -> Fitted

Excellent!
Thank you!
I will give that try tonight.
Last night I was able to get my exhaust valves to stay open but that is only when in Dynamic mode.
I love sound of the V8 with the valves open but hate the stiff ride.
If this works, I will have it set how I like it.
Is there a way to make it remember to stay in the mode you left it in last on restart.
Mine always goes back to normal mode after every re-start.
