- Havoline Extended Life Coolant is an OAT coolant: It uses organic acid technology for corrosion protection, which is different from the traditional silicate-based antifreeze.
- OAT coolants are generally compatible: You can use other OAT coolants as a substitute.
- Avoid mixing different types: Do not mix OAT coolants with silicate-based antifreeze, as this can cause problems.
- Check for compatibility: Always check the manufacturer's recommendations for your specific vehicle model, as some vehicles may have specific coolant requirements.
