Head-up Display
can you program a HUD to show you when a biker (ebiker) is approaching on the right? If you are turning right, you may be doing so from the only vehicle lane; cars are not your issue. e-bikes can go between you and the curb - has JLR figured out how to use the camera on the roof (visible in the rear view mirror) - to integrate to the HUD so if you put your right blinker on when there's a bike approaching, somehow there's a signal? they do this already with a signal in your passenger mirror, so maybe that warning on the mirror is matched in the HUD? Or maybe it's one of those OTA updates that are possible?
Do you need it? Absolutely not. However once you're used to it you can't go back. In all of my cars, the HUD is more difficult to see if wearing polarized sunglasses.I think it should display the words on the audio playing to help we sing along when I'm driving particularly in off road modes. (Everybody else seems to have a wish list!)

Get it. I had HUD in both my previous cars, and I recommend it because it puts that info right in front of your eyes; no more having to look down or across to see speed and map info etc.
And I wear spectacles and the HUD works a treat (that can't be said of the insight rear view mirror which takes me too long to re-focus on its digital display, so a total waste of money).

The HUD adjust brightness depending on if the headlamps turns on. So it dims at night. You can then adjust it to your liking and when you press program memory on the door it is stored under that profile (1-3). So the daytime brightness and nighttime brightness is stored. I don't see the background at night on mine.
