I had a 2017 RAM truck that didn't have any sidesteps when I bought it. I had retractable sidesteps installed and it made a tremendous difference! They came down lower and extended further than my previous pickup with fixed sidesteps. Wondering about the possibilities for a 110.

There are several options, as I almost went that route myself. I couldn't tell the difference between some that were $600 and most others were well over $1,000. My wife liked the look of the "regular" units and they were much less expensive, so that's the route we went. Here are the folding options:

Folding side steps option 1
Folding side steps option 2
Folding side steps option 3

If you do install them, please post back your results.

Thanks, DallasDave! Those first two look a bit shady. The third is not as bad, but is located in the UK, so shipping and tariffs would likely be exorbitant!

There are some on Amazon (
here here
). This one at least has a video that purports to be an installation on a Defender 110. I just don't see a lot of solid/trustworthy options online. Wondered whether any owners on this forum had actual experience with brands other than the very expensive LR. I'm confident that my wife isn't going to be interested in my spending thousands of $ on this project!

Either way you will be so far ahead of what the dealer would charge...even for a new vehicle purchase. The Land Rover website (build your own vehicle) shows $2,000 for "Black Fixed Side Steps" and $4,500 for "Deployable Side Steps".
