Default How to remove an icon from driver side icons in Pivi Pro?

I have Pivi Pro 3.0 in our 2022 Defender. By default, there are three icons on lefthand (driver) side of the screen: navigation, phone, media/CarPlay.

I dragged an application icon to this column of icons so I now have four icons/apps. I now want to remove the app I added, but I don't know how.

I press and hold and get to the customization screen. I try to drag the icon back into the apps screen, to the X at the bottom, off the screen completely, but it always comes back. Does anyone know how to delete one of these icons/app from that location?

I think you can only replace it with a different icon.

Yep, get another icon and drag it on top of it, I think that does it.

Good post. One of the reasons I ditched carplay after a quick try (besides the fact that I'd probably rarely use it) is because of that icon shown in your screenshot which sets up shop and takes a slot. What's important to me is having the camera icon on the left side in a consistent position because reaching over to the right side is a stretch and I activate the camera very often e.g. parking, drive-thrus and car washes. There are probably at least a few folks who didn't know these icons can be adjusted. I didn't find it to be intuitive when I got mine setup and even now if I had to adjust these again it would probably take me a little bit of fiddling.

Thanks. So if you originally had 3 and then added 1, you’re stuck with 4 from then on?

I know this thread is old but just in case someone still is having issues with this. I had similar issues but you can actually remove icons from the side. You just have to tap and hold.. but you have to hold for quite a while before it registers that you’re trying to move/remove it from the side bar
