There is a boatload of info on coolant types, colors and applications but here is a simplified version of OAT, HOAT, etc and what the acronyms stand for. Biggest thing to check for is does it meet the standard required for the vehicle and the engine components, i.e. aluminum vs iron…



This is the JLR spec needed for the coolant for our engines: Jaguar Land Rover specification STJLR.651.5003
