Has anyone recently taken delivery of their 23.5 that was expected to have the Interactive Drivers Display? I noticed several Defenders on dealer lots have been downgraded to the TFT (analog) display. Is this still ongoing?
I would love to confirm that I have the interactive Drivers Display on my MY23.5 but I am STILL waiting to actually get my hands on the car even though it was built on 17th December. I think I must be close to setting a record for the longest wait between build and delivery. Significant delays in the ports around Australia have not helped at all and the expected delivery date of 3rd March has steadily pushed out.

On truck to retailer: waiting!
Still hoping to pick it up in the next week or two.
My MY23 Defender 100 D300 SE was order at the end of May 2022 with an estimated delivery date of March 2023. In January the dealer suggested I upgrade the headlights so that production could continue (the standard ones were out of stock), I accepted this and the extra cost and was told to expect the vehicle in early May. Now, after weeks of phone calls I have been told late July! Has anyone else been waiting this long? There seem to be a heap of new Defenders on the road but sadly not mine!

I have a 23.5 currently on order with a build date 6/20. I was told that the remaining 23.5's will come with the 11 inch display and analog dials. I was in the "build your own" section last night and they had updated the site so you could only choose the 11 inch and analog. sadly, today you can no longer build a 23.5 Defender. There are new V8's at my local dealer and they all have the analog dials too. might be outa our hands at the moment.

What country are you in? The US site still has the build your own up and many models still show the IDD as standard/available:
Oh nice.. I actually needed to see this again, thanks for the link! I'm in the US but this is what I see when I try to build one. 2023's I get a "search inventory" .. weird.. hmm and when I refresh the screen it's also Search Inventory. I stand by my call that it's 11 inch screen and analog dials..

It’s kind of hidden. You have to click on “overview” just below the “search inventory” and then you’ll see the build your own options. I have a 23.5 on order with a June build date. I was going to wait for a 2024 until I saw that you can no longer get the Surround Sound audio unless you get a V8 model so I’m sticking with the 23.5. It’s a deal breaker for me if it comes with the analog display. If that happens, I’ll probably find a low mileage 2022 model. Those seem to be the model year that has everything. The later model year Defenders keep getting dumbed down.

Gotta ask...Why a deal breaker if you get the TFT? Took delivery of our 110SE last week (TFT w/11.3" screen)...Have not even toggled through the TFT screens since we picked up the car....

My X built on 2/7 was downgraded from IDD to analog dials. It was just delivered to the dealer a couple of weeks ago. I ended up not taking delivery of it as my dealer offered me another car that had all the options.
Curious, for those who were downgraded to the TFT, did your build sheet from the factory show the digital display and you were surprised at delivery? Or were you aware the entire time you had been downgraded?
