I do remove all of the skids every time. I have considered the Fumoto plug...but I take that opportunity to clean and inspect the undercarriage as I do a lot of off-roading. The skids collect a lot of mud espically here in the Northeast USA. I use a undercarriage pressure washer attachment after I take the skids off then clean/inspect the undercarriage then I do the oil change. Time consuming...but gives me good piece of mind.
