I wonder how much my larger tires (275/55R20 Nitto Ridgegrapplers) have affected my MPG… I know they really reduced the throttle response around town, but I didn’t think I would take such a big hit in the MPG arena…
22 P300 with rack, snorkel, ladder. 18.7mpg average across 5400 miles (I have tracked every gas fill up and mileage since new on Fuelly). Best mpg was 21.1 on a long road trip using eco mode.
MY23 P300 ~4900 miles - BFG K02's - average 17ish - 20ish on the highway
P300 getting close to 20 to 21 on highway because I find myself not going over 65. 17to 18 if I am doing 70 to 75. I get 15 in city with all the idle and stoplights.
Per the Journey Log I'm getting around 8-14mpg around town, short drives (1-2 miles) in the dead of winter. However, with longer stretches at intermediate speeds - say averaging 35mph - then I'm getting 24-26mpg with some losses due to terrain.
My best stretch? 32mph on a flat road for 6+ miles. 30mpg if you believe it! I don't.
Oh, and I always have auto start-stop disabled. I've found the Land Rover system to be not as smooth as the Audi system where it's basically invisible.
I'm averaging 17.3 in my d130 with p400 after 3500 miles. That includes some towing of my airstream and utility trailer, so I'd imagine it's in the neighborhood of 18 in normal driving.
P300 here and most of my mileage is from living on the road with the car fully loaded up. I've noticed depending on the wind and driving between 70-80 mph to expect 15-18 MPG. My lifetime MPG with 20k plus miles on the road is 15.8 mpg.
