Anyone have a good pistol mount in their Defender? I am tired of laying mine in the door, because it rattles like crazy. Just curious to see what you guys are rocking and where?

 

I have mine sitting in a holster in the center cubby. The cubby is relatively deep so I thought about something more permanent. I want to see if I can get this to fit....

not sure and it looks too deep with a pistol holstered, so I haven’t tried it. Might work with something custom in the glove box.

 

That's pretty cool, but I don't know if it will work? I was wanting something easily accessible by my right leg. I have a simple Uncle Mike's holster in my truck that fits perfect along the center console and between my driver's seat. But there really isn't anywhere to mount something in the Defender. Unless I drill into the side of the console, and I know my wife isn't going to go for that.

 

I might order one and have a custom interior guy do something. I want biometric so the firearm is relatively secure but quick to access if needed quickly. Drilling holes is fine for me so long as it’s clean and discrete. I do not want the firearm to be visible whatsoever when viewed through a window at any angle.

 

Yeah, I know what you mean by not being visible. You have to really look to see mine in my truck. I guess I could build something for the Defender. Just wondered if there were any god solutions before I started that.

 

So I am thinking about this Vehicle Handgun Mount | Vehicle Gun Mount | Steering Wheel Gun Holster But it won't actually mount under the steering wheel on these cars. Maybe the console by my right leg?

 

Try a QuickDraw magnetic pistol mount inside center console. Works great

 

I went with an upgrade. I have small 50 cal under the fake diamond plate that rotates with a flip of a switch. Very similar to what you see in every james bond movie.
