May also be rear fuse box . Does it happen when turning wheels lock to lock or when enabling heated windshields front or rear?
Hi Folks as per the above I have a random squeaking noise from the nearside front underside of my 69 plate DS HSE. The noise appears randomly when you accelerate hard or slow down quickly (not applying the breaks) also when you turn the steering wheel fast, activate the front or rear windscreen demisters the squeak appears, select P on the auto gear stick and only happens when the DS has the engine running. Its not any of the bushes as have al them checked. It seems to be coming from one of the nearside undertray around the passenger seat. Any ideas as I am totally lost on this one as so is the garage? Thanks for the assistance in advance as I am new to this forum.

Reason: Typa and more info added
What is a 69 plate DS HSE? What is a DS you speak of? And how do you slow down quickly without applying the brakes? Your first post is hard to read…. But welcome to the group.

Assuming you're talking about a Discovery Sport, you might want to post this question over on that forum, as this is the Defender forum.
Also, this is a US-based forum, and it sounds like you're in the UK, so you might struggle to find something on here. There are plenty of other Discovery Sport forums out there that I've linked below that also might be helpful. Regardless, hope you get everything sorted out and best of luck!
Hi, Sorry was trying to get the post before heading out this morning. The car is a Discovery Sport when I am driving if you hit the accelerator quick and take you foot back off the accelerator you here the squeak its hard to explain. the other times when it squeaks are,
Applying the parking button
Selecting the front or rear demisters (squeaks every time)
Turning the steering wheel back and forth (There was squeaking when it was up on the ramp as well as on the ground) when the engine was switched off with the car still on the ramp and there no squeak when turning the steering wheel back and forth.
As above when driving you get the random squeak when their is a sudden shift in speed increase or decrease of speed but when breaking there's no squeak.
I have had al the bushes and suspension checked and that is all okay as thought it may have been the anti roll bar linkage however they are all okay. It only seems to be when the car is engine running totally bifold on this as is the local garage. I have attached a photo to show the area where squeak is coming from.
Thanks again for the welcome and support from the forum.
