I really hope mine has the blue. If not, I will check with the dealer to see if they can swap them as you mentioned earlier. I heard they are lighter with better stopping power and they shave 0.2 sec off the 0-60 time. But that might just be a rumour started by me.....
So there is an actual difference in the brakes themselves…it’s not just cosmetic?
Thought I’d post a pic of my truck in “ski mode”. It did great for the drive up to Maine. Quiet and comfortable, could barely tell the roof box was up there.
20” OE wheels with 275/55 tires getting installed on Thursday.
Quick, what a great looking truck. So adding the roof rails, the cross bars and the Thule box didn't make the truck roll over the first corner you took? I'm glad you did this because I admit I was a little concerned LR may have kept the rails off for some reason other than performance. Not a logical thought.
Not to derail this thread but I wasn't sure where the best place to ask it was. Should I be concerned that my 2022 V8 is going to arrive in a few weeks, literally days ahead of the 2023 models? My truck is going to be "one year old" after having it for a freaking week! I guess if I want the truck I have no choice. If I place an order for a new 23 (here in Canada) I'm at least 8 months out so that won't help much. My option would be wait 6 months and place an order for one of the first 2024 models to arrive in the summer of 24. I guess I'm screwed.

I thought it might tip itself over right after I finished installing the last bolt, but that didn’t happen.
I think the reason they did that was due to GVWR limits and not having to re-certify the truck with the heavier engine. Additionally, the suspension is tuned differently so that likely factors in some.
I don’t plan on having a ton of load up there, so was happy enough with the roof box loaded with my skis.

What do you want on the MY23 that you don’t get on a 22? They removed the blue callipers but otherwise it’s the same truck. By the way, the design is already 4 years old thanks to COVID. If we have to wait any longer we will all be buying self-driving flying submarines.
