2022 with the blue calipers might be the "unicorn" of models - not too many were actually delivered so thinking could be a good thing to have the '22. After my order was unslotted last year, I ordered another vehicle. Land Rover then let me know the Defender actually would be built and delivered - picked it up in December. When the other vehicle arrived in February (Audi for reference), dealer would have given me $10k over what I paid for the Defender even though it had 2500 miles on it....not enough to make me jump but shows what a crazy market it is (and perhaps the - probably temporary - scarcity value of the V8 versions).

Thought I’d drop these in here as well. Just swapped the 22s for a set of factory 20s with 275/55 Toyo Open Country AT3. I think it looks great - looks like a defender again. I initially wanted something with a more aggressive offset, but after seeing these, I’m not sure I’m still interested in that.

And notice my Bronco in the background getting angry because the Defender is getting some love. Poor little angry guy…

I need to source those 20" wheels for my snow tires. Did you buy those from the dealer?

Yup, bought the whole setup from the dealer. They worked on a reasonable price to make it worthwhile, including wheels, tires and TPMS and had the whole setup ready in about 3 days.

Hi Yulong,

Do you have any more info on this? My SA just told me that my truck won’t have the blue calipers. They were notified a few months ago and, of course, he failed to inform me. I mentioned that Land Rover was replacing them if requested and asked him to check on that. I’m quite certain he won’t….

That's what my retailer told me, read me the notice over the phone. I'll ask him tomorrow if it was a formal notice.

My Urban V8 Carpathian Edition D90 is taking shape. Wide arches, roof spoiler, hood vents, side steps, etc installed so far. Wheels going on tomorrow.

Wide arches are huge!

I’ll post more pics when it’s done.

Looks great, @Polar993 ! Those don't seem to be OEM wheel arches. Are they and you had them painted? If not, where did you source them. Urban? Thanks.

So the notice came from LR Corporate, but I guess remedy is at dealer discretion, so I would lean on them.
