Hey guys, new to the forum. After a search for a more modest build Defender 90, I came across a V8 on order from a nearby dealership, and I decided to bite the bullet and jump on it with a deposit. The more I read about the V8, the more I wanted it, and I’m coming from an F-Type R, so I’m going to appreciate having that engine again. I kind of lucked out, because it’s already set to start the build next month, so I (hopefully) only need to wait till early May. One bummer though: I was just going through the build sheet, and noticed that whoever ordered it picked the Windsor Leather seats over the standard Suedecloth seats, and unfortunately the last amendment date just passed a couple of days ago. I don’t think I’m going to let it stop me from buying the vehicle, but I wonder if anyone here has seen both types of seat leathers and if the Suedecloth is something that I’m going to miss. I’d hate to feel like I’m compromising with such a pricy purchase.

@Father McKenzy what you need now is someone to tell you that the leather is the better choice so that you can sleep at night! So I will. I'd go leather. Alcantara / Suede cloth ... seems like a bit racy, which is cool, but it looks utter crap after 50-60k miles.

really close on pulling the trigger on the milltek exhaust system. i could prob achieve a similar sound with just removing the resonators on the stock system but the stock tips are pretty ugly.
I agree that the exhaust tips look terrible... I am looking at aftermarket options for this....

The exhaust tips and the rear caliper being a different color then the front ones is simply embarrassing and not acceptable giving the price tag
I will definitely replace the exhaust tips!

I tried to modified my order and change the color to Carpathian however my built was locked unfortunately.
Never thought I would regret buying Black but this color is so beautiful

my understanding is that the blue caliper color is dropped in favor of black all around from 23 on- which is a joke. It's a sexy color.

If my 22 V8 was pushed to 23 I would have 100% gone with the Windsor Leather. I'm sure you won't miss it at all.

Wow that's really unfortunate .The blue color is so nice and different then the other colors we usually see.
Customer won't be happy about that

Wow, I’m going through my build sheet right now, and you’re right, no mention of blue calipers but they do mention the black calipers. What a bummer! I noticed on the builder website that it never showed the mock-up with the blue calipers, but I figured they just didn’t render them.
