Guess they're having a hard time sourcing the Xenon Blue paint for the calipers! What a joke!

Bad move by LR to change the currently very distinctive blue brake calipers to black!

Following MacMia's post regarding caliper color I decided to reach out to my dealer and they confirmed that the 2023 orders will have Black Calipers. However since my order was originally a 2022 move to 2023 it may come with the Blue ones.
I will have an answer next week...I
f they are Black I will most likely cancel my order
This is such a disappointing news as I also tried to changed the paint color to Carpathian grey twice and my dealership wasn't able to since the built was locked.
What's even more disappointing is that I originally wanted the Bond Edition but was told it wasn't available, then asked for CE to be told again it wasn't available for Canada....

No worries my man , thank you actually for bringing this to our attention.
Not sure why my salesman never told me while he was aware of it.. I would of been so mad to realize this upon delivery!!

I'd choose all black calipers all around over this nonsense of different caliper colors between the front and back.

Having my rear calipers painted blue to match during PDI. If you prefer blue calipers and yours comes with black just ask the dealership to order the xenon blue paint and paint them before delivery.

never been a huge fan of showing off your standard calipers which the rear are but i do agree they should match.

Just ordered the Milltek fatback system today. should be arriving mid Feb. Probably going to be the first in US with the system. System was built for euro spec OPF cars. hopefully no issues with fitting

i did the same for for my P400 and the system bolted up no issues. I was probably the first in US with that system

skip to around 8:50 for sound clips.

Looking forward to hearing what you think of this one as well! My neighbours already comment on how loud my other cars are, what's one more?

That sounds really sick! Do you mind sharing how much the Milltek system costs for the V8? Since it's from the cats back, is it all the way from the primary cats to the rear muffler section, including an x or h pipe? The guys at Urban who fitted the one in their shop referred to "straight pipes", which normally would mean that the exhaust system includes a secondary cat-delete.

I am thinking of either getting the Milltek mufflers (cats back), or possibly trying catless downpipes and keeping everything else stock. Any thoughts on that? Might be a less expensive solution and yield pretty good sound. Problem is the ugly stock exhaust tips would then still remain.

milltek system is modular. the system can be ordered with center resonator or straight pipe. Urban ran it straight piped

i paid 3800 shipped for both resonator and the straight pipes with carbon fiber tips. It’s probably the most expensive build.

i am in US and we don’t have the OPF filter which quiets the car down a lot. basically like an additional cat or resonator

i made the mistake and ordered my p400 non resonator and it was too loud. ended up adding my own resonators. i like loud exhaust and it was too much

the straight pipes are pretty cheap and they bolt in the center resonator section. so it’s a easy swap

i got the straight pipes just in case it wasn’t loud enough. the V8 has valves and they open at higher rpm or full open in dynamic mode

i wouldn’t go catless. the smells are pretty bad and car gets significantly louder

the cheap way to get more sound is just to remove the factory resonator. usually does the trick but the stock tips are fugly
