The bracket looked flimsy to me and I did not explore it much further, I want a NO RATTLE experience and was driving a fare amount of washboard roads.

Thanks for the advice on placement I may proceed with a second one also, mine was about $90 , my indi shops must have old supply.

 

Just installed it. I wouldn't call the provided bracket flimsy, it holds the extinguisher well, but due to the fact that both ends are loose it's not a rattle, but, like you said, a RATTLE That sound will drive me nuts even on asphalt, forget about dirt roads.
However... when the second one comes I'll just install the second bracket on the left end, can't beat that. No extra money, too

All of this makes me miss the Jeep dearly - I had the roll cage wrapped in MOLLE sheets, and had everything there - a knife, a machete, a CB radio, a medkit, a shovel, with space left for a lot of other trinkets. Having the fire extinguisher above my head on the left would be ideal.
I wish JLR was thinking about our convenience as much as they thought about the AC, but yeah, a weekend warrior it is.
