'01 Disco LE Build
Well, water pump, Serp belt, Idler pulley and Belt Tensioner Assy... Ouch!
$1000 to get it done.. Seems like they are padding their labor a bit! I'm not sure I'm up for the challenge though, and would still have to get it home to work on it....

Back in action... Im thinking I will do some more preventive maintenance as Im getting close to 100k. (currently 96500) Time to do the O2 sensors/wires, ABS modulator fix ( option A or B????) and prob go ahead and order rotors and pads all the way around (Ill take ideas for well priced products, please)... New bumper is supposed to be here Monday so it sounds like im going to be busy!!!!
Friendly suggestion; when you get to the brakes, replace all of your brake lines, preferably with the ss braided extended ones that are available. They're at the age where they'll swell on the inside and cause problems. Also, check the condition of all of your calipers; if the rubber dust seals are rotted, there's rust in there, and it won't be long before that becomes an issue. Your traction control won't work right with sticky calipers. And obviously flush some new dot 4 through, too.
Great looking rig!
