I believe it was an 1 1/4 hole saw.

Sweet, thank you!

Btw -- did you ever get the answer to pulling out your radio? You had asked about doing that in another thread.. Its easy! Just get a file hanger folder, remove one hanger and bend it in half. You should have 2 thin pieces of metal that can be inserted into the slots in the radio. Insert maybe about 2-3" and you should be able to pull the radio carefully out via the tape slot.

There are a few vids on yewtube on it

Default Seems like...

One step forward, two steps back lately.

Progress...

Relapse...

I've hit two deer within a month, one with Silverado and now the gray basta*d (new nickname).

Well if no one besides the deer was hurt it's a good day. Doors can be replaced or repaired.

Or just run it with the door damage I do lol

The damage blows but Did you get to eat either of them or were they to messed up? We’ve taken a few road kill Deere and some were amazing meat while others were too mashed internally to get much from.

Yeah, this is like an "icing on the cake" type of thing. If everything else was going fine and dandy with this rover, no biggy. But, this is just insult to injury. It's funny you mention throwing in the towel. Kind of did this, short term. Told my wife l was stepping away from this thing and parking it for a while, and either spending some time on the white 04's engine or finish dismantling the 01...or becoming a drunk...lol.

Yes, ArmyRover...one foot farther and in the ditch. Which would have been a rolled rover outcome. Told my insurance guy...l just saved you a bunch of money this morning in hospital bills.

Rich, no venison dinner in either incident. Both were totally destroyed.

When I bought the cheap Heep I told myself out loud it's not gonna own my soul. This is a first. It's hard, I want to make it mine, all mine. I finally replaced the windshield which took exactly one year. It's the most expensive item to date and finished the checklist, nothing left, everything works, not one annoying little thing left. As soon as I sat in the seat to leave the Safelite shop I had an overwhelming feeling that something bad was going to happen. Incredible, overwhelming because I just finished a project that wasn't a project. The only things I've "customized" are a stock Chrysler navigation radio that this year WJ never had and I rattle can'd the peeling wheels which took two days. The Heep is gold, I feel like I'm surrounded by a halo. It's dead reliable. This week I was running a few minutes later than normal, I passed a plow going 40mph, the road is 55mph, two lanes and this is the long straight. Just as I was even with the grill of the plow I saw why he pulled up his shoulder wing, a deer on the shoulder. It turned and went back into the woods. Something is absolutely wrong, that deer in my Rover would've tried to beat the plow and taken me out instead......
