The Green bastard
Well I started building an awning for the bastard this morning and than I ran out of wire for my mig So instead I took the kids fishing and atv riding. Beautiful day for it. Rover is still running great. Knock on wood. Lol
Got most of the homemade awning done today, even got it mounted in the wind and rain. Still need to test it out and make some kind of cover for it. Was thinking of a 4” plastic pipe and cap for the front portion.
I cut up some cheap “paracord” had to heat shrink the ends as they would turn into a mess rather quickly if left raw.
Made some cinch blocks up for all the straps
@Fastercat I see you have a Canadian multi tool there by back corner. They work great for tucking in Roof top tent fabric as you close and to pull the zipper across at the front.
So, our Red Wings have a future...in another career...lol.
If anyone is interested I’m putting both of my rovers up for sale. For those of you who know me I’m a rover nut and have 2 road going green rovers. I’ve decided I only need 1. I’ve put a ton of work into this truck but wife and oldest kid like the p38 better. Whichever one doesn’t sell first I’m keeping. I truly love both trucks so the buyer will decide for me.
