I found out why my ac quit working this summer lol. Too close to the headers, zip tie wasn’t enough to keep it away

Sat the new rad in place, I will have to mock up some mounts.

Looks like it work

Headers back in. The starter heat shield was a pain to get clearance. Almost wanted to chuck it. I know it probably needs it. Got rid of the air injection today too. Much better access without it.

From an industrial wholesaler called checker industrial, I’m not sure what the size was, it wasn’t a perfect match as it did not have a concave part to seal up, so I added sealant to the threads.

After these pictures I got excited and installed the upper intake and accessories, I was missing an injector clip. I hope I sneak one in without having to remove the upper again.

The install is done, oil pressure guage installed, I moved the scanguage beside it for now.
problem is it won’t start. Lol. I’m still working on it. No codes, no fuel pressure.

Yahooo! She’s up and running. Did a 10 min idle. Changed oil. Doing another 1-2hr easy drive, than I’ll do another oil change. So far so good.

I did put a new motorad 180 Thermostat in which I feel is not actually a 180. Maybe a 190. I might have to go the in-line stat mod. Sucks as I already have all new stock hoses I just put in. Seems to hold steady at 198 at idle, but it’s pretty cool a outside right now. In the 70s. same temps while driving
oil pressure is 50 psi cold start up, 25ish at idle at temp, runs around 30-35ish while cruising at temp.

The kit Extinct sells uses the stock hoses and I would strongly recommend it.

300K...now that's some driving...well, unless you mean 300 kilometers...darn metric system anyway...lol.

Glad she's going along without issue.
