I put another 300 kilometres on yesterday, runs great. Definitely has more power than before, still haven’t pinned it yet. Lol. damn tempting Tho. Watching the temp like a hawk. I might just put in my old thermostat for now. Gets as high as 205 doing 75mph on the highway after a few minutes, stays at 198 if I do 65 mph. I’m not happy about that. I know I’m pushing a lot of air with my rack and everything but I was hoping to cruise at 75 with no issues. Thought that new rad would be better than a nissens. Perhaps I’ll add some water wetter and change the thermostat. See how it goes

@Fastercat I am running a bit hotter since doing my head gaskets as well, I get up to 194-195 once I hit 60 MPH running the LR black thermostat.

I’m going to replace the fan clutch first, see if that helps any.
I tried to tighten up a clamp on the power steering return line, hopefully that fixes the constant drip since the transplant.
I temporarily used an oil bottle to repair the rotted out air intake flex. I’m thinking of making my own snorkel setup. Or I’ll get 1 of abrans kits if not

My temp rises up a little at idle, and I can spin the fan when hot about 1/4 revolution. I had read somewhere that it should not spin so easy by hand when hot. I still haven’t put my original stat in yet. Kinda pissed if this brand new one is not really a 180.

Cut open the rear diff with a cordless grinder

Bought a cheap 120v mig at the local hardware store, started welding the cross pin back in, welded the shaft gears to the carrier, stuck some small wrenches in side and welded it up solid

Made a spool with the left over parts and a 1lb spool of wire

Welded the cut off plate back on, filled it up with 80/90 and ready for tomorrow

I should’ve welded my initials on there

You're definitely "leaving it on the field". Land Rover mojo headi g your way...in hopes of off setting these issues.
