Went on a little drive this weekend while up in Winter Park, CO - Wifey was running a 1/2 marathon. No crazy trails or anything like that but it was fun to bum around and check stuff out!

How many miles of that are there?
I could cruise around there all day, doing nothing, and have a great time.
What a view.

More pics please! Some of us don't get out as much as we'd like. Or have access to the Rockies, and are JEALOUS!!!

Nothing like a day of mid week camping! Wifey and I hit the road on a whim up to the mountains -- good times for sure! Did a few miles on some terribly rutty roads which (i think) loosened up the windshield cowls (the exterior A pillar trim) and caused some awful wind noise while driving home on the hwy. When i got home, i noticed that the caulking of these trim pieces where it meets the windshield had cracked.. Lame. More things to add to the list to fix!

Also decided to check the transfer case fluid and i was able to add about a quart Looks like the rectangular pan thing on the tcase might be leaking -- i found some liquid gasket material on the edges.

I've also been meaning to change the tranny filter / fluid but came across a stripped drain plug bolt which sucks. All the other bolts came loose which is good i guess. Debating on just taking the truck to a indy rover shop and have them deal with it. Any point to topping the fluid off for now?

Looks like a nice day out, the gas door lock is pretty skookum too .

I would top up, transmissions do not like to be low

I have the other issue filler bolt stripped on the transmission - just waiting on a complete pan from a fellow locally to swap them out.

My tcase has a bit of leak too the ugly one to get at,up high I need to top it up this weekend.
