Alarm problem
Had my Land Rover 1997 disco running great locks weren’t catching on passenger side door so I took of the panel to get a closer look put a small amount of wd-40 on the lock mechanism and put the panel back on went to start it up and the alarms went off and wouldn’t turn over battery eventually died charged it back up and now can’t even hook up the battery without the alarms going off I’ve heard about the spider ecu but I’m clueless just got my disco and am new into cars
do you have the key fob or just the metal key?
if the key fob, try locking/unlocking with that when you reattach the battery.
if i recall correctly, North American Discoverys did not have the Spider Alarm ECU.
