The only stupid question is the one not asked.

There is no stand alone fuel pump relay on the '98 Disco, it is a multi function relay.
Not everything can be explained with a diagram or schematic.
Sometimes it is best to just say "its over here and it looks like this"

So that others may be enlightened, where did you find it in the RAVE?

That be it. BTW, see that black coolant container? They have a bad habit of cracking at the seam, major coolant loss, steam, etc. Worth your while for Santa to bring you a new white one.

Here's correct page from RAVE, you should already have it.

Check fuses 3 and 6 in underhood box.

Should be able to jump pin 4 and pin 7 (purple & white, white & purple) to make power hot thru inertia switch (worth a poke to reset) to the pump.

Don't leave pump running for more than a second or two if engine is not running, I believe the ECU turns off the pump if engine does not crank.

I had my brother post the picture after I found it. My relay has been extremely hot. The plastic housing was discolored with shiny purple/blue/yellowish coloring due to high heat. I sure hope it helps the next person with relay questions. It is definitely larger than any relay I've searched for. Google immediately had me going down the wrong path. I'm absolutely sold on the fact that "RAVE" should be every new owners first step after purchase. Second step LandRoverforum.com. You guys are great. Thanks again.

I will pickup a relay tomorrow. I believe the pump and relay were worked to death trying to push fuel through the clogged filter. I will let you all know my results.

IMHO your diagnosis is spot on.

Everything worked out as planned. ON THE ROAD AGAIN!!! I did have some small fuses in the engine compartment that tested good but when I checked the resistence with my meter it was high. After replacing those fuses, fuel pump and relay module came alive. Thanks again guys.

Btw, is there a place to list parts dealers on the forum? In Kentucky there is a junkyard that only deals in used Land Rover parts. I picked up the fuel relay for $20. They offer 60 day warranty on everything. British Atlantic had a new one for $100+shipping.
