Hard Start
I've got that hard start everybody has been having, so from what I read:
Basically the replace the fuel filter, if no go replace the pump, if no go finally the regulator. So why not just do all 3
Questions:
the regulator- can I just get one from autozone or is this a key component I should just "AB, BPUTAH, ROVAHFARM" it.
the pump- get that seal with it too right? I'm going to "R" that bad boy along with the seal
(ooooo i'm going to say ABR or ARB from now on haha)

Do I need a fuel pressure tester, fuel pump pressure tester, or a fuel injection tester?
I tried to convert this to PSI but... it's not really working out.
6. Reconnect the battery and turn the ignition to position II while observing the pressure gauge. Results Expected reading 2,39-2,672 kgf/cm2 Pressure drop-max 0.7 kgf/cm2 in one minute. If pressure is low check that filter is not blocked and pump is operating satisfactorily. Then recheck pressure. If pressure is still low renew regulator.

Not quite what I meant. Yes, you could use a tire gauge, but then it will have gas in it, so dispose of it. The test gauge is not too much more sophisticated than that, and they rent a kit (usually refund money when you bring back) at the parts store. Have rag around it so you don't squirt fuel on warm engine parts or we could be coming to your house for bar b que.

I did that one day and the schrader valve itself bit the dust. Fuel flowed everywhere.
Mine did not have a cap on it when I bought it. All I can figure is the valve itself weakened. I unbolted the valve body from the fuel rail, walked down the hill to a old Filling Station/Tire Dealer. They installed a new insert that matched the color code on the old one, gave me a few spares and had a good laugh about it.
I was concerned about the fuel compatability but it has held up fine.
