Default Help needed - driver seatbelt busted

Hey guys,

Brand new to this community. I got my 1998 Land Rover Discovery a few months ago, and I am having a few problems.

The most recent issue is the driver side seatbelt buckle. The seatbelt won't buckle anymore. This happened out of nowhere. It seems like the spring inside is busted, or something along those lines. I am a complete novice when it comes to these things. I would appreciate a little help on what I can do to fix this problem. I would like to try to fix it myself so I can learn more about the car I drive, but I don't know how to go about this.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks guys,
Sean

Welcome to hell... Jk

Take it apart. If you can't fix it buy a new one.

If you want to buy a good used replacement, I have them in stock. I'll send you a PM in a minute with details. Installation is easy. You'll just need to remove the single bolt holding the receiver to the seat and unplug the wiring that leads under the back of the center console for the seat belt alarm. Overall, it shouldn't take you more than a few minutes to do the swap. If you have any other questions about it let me know.
Cheers,
Paul;
