People say 94/95 because they're simple. Less computers and OBDI. Not eligible for emissions testing.

The other people say get a '99 because its the newest and they've worked all the bugs out by that point. If you look for a '99 you'll need to know the difference between a D1 and D2 because there were also '99 D2's.

 

I bought my 91 for 800 but it needed a bit of work. Over the last year ive replaced the oil pump, water pump, front seal, oil pan gasket, and timing belt. Its my daily driver tho and i love the thing

Well at the moment I live right across the street from my work. I'm soon moving to much nicer 'luxury' apartments that happens to be on the other side of town, which is a while 10-20 minute walk at most. So even if I had to walk that it wouldn't be a problem, especially since I'm opening manager and I enjoy morning walks.

 

Get a bicycle.
