My 98 won't start - your ideas please!
Yeah, checked the fuse and inertia switch - did see one of the connectors on the switch had a black, burnt mark but connector clean and measured as a good connection - I'll get back to that, later. Just no power switching a term 1 on the MFU from the ECM. I suppose if signal is't read from CKP sensor, then no reason to send the signal for fuel.
In my searches, I finally put together why you mentioned the bracket
- , I hadn't put your name together w/ the post. Thanks for your input! Russ

Just a quick note in case someone else needs help, tested and even rebuilt my inertia switch and swapped good one from my 96 but a test jumper from the switch side of the connector showed me that the inertia switch connector terminals were corroded. Back probe didn't show it! Back on the road and learnt a few other things, but I'm putting together a better post with all that (with pictures!!!) Russ
Must be a common problem. took me a few weeks to find the burnt inertia connector back when first got my Disco 1. I cut the end off and connected the 2 wires together, problem solved Just got to remember mot to roll the truck over....
