Sorry about the delay, I got stuck on a long project at work, the new adjustable panhard rod should be here Saturday, I should be able to install it this weekend... I will post the results.

will that show when putting a pry bar between the tire and ground, the same way one can check ball joints/bearings? that should be something OP should check as well, as that can create death wobble too.

I have not done mine yet have to buy a scale, I would think if they are that loose you need bearings not just the pre load adjusted
Seems easy
Remove wheel
Disconnect all tie rods from hub
Turn hub to Max right hook scale on tie rod hole
Turn hub all the way to left by pulling on scale
Should be 11 to 15 lbs on each hub
Remove shims to tighten bearings
