I bought mine from these folks, but needed the code many years later, tech told me to hold on, came back with the code. He did ask for vin and a few other things, but no problem. (877) 786-3551

I still get codes from the two dealers I work with. If the radio is original and the VIN works I get the code on my first call. If they have to use the radio’s serial number it might mean a callback from the dealer, usually within a few minutes. I can’t believe dealers are charging for the service or, even refusing to perform a task that, in many cases just takes a minute or two.
