RR clasic radiator hose on a D1 Whats going on
Ppl are saying the Discovery 1 engine is the same as the Range Rover Classics, but i am going through the same hassle. I ordered the lower radiator hose for the D1 and it has the hose and two extra tubes coming out the side. But the hose on my D1 only has one hose coming out the side. I looked up that one and it is said to only go on the Rover Classic. I really don't want to order another hose. I have been waiting for almost a month. what is going on with this thing? Even Atlantic British doesn't have it listed. P.S yes i know it is the brand i was not suppose to buy.

No the RRC and the DI do not use the same engine, it is the same block, but different heads, different front covers, different parts used based on component location.
As for the DI radiator hoses, which hose it takes depends on the EVAP system the truck has.
This is a MUST KNOW for ordering parts for your truck, Discover Discovery Maintenance Tips, Accessories, Parts & More at Roverparts.com, fuel pump, spark plugs, radiators hoses, etc. will all be different based on your EVAP code.
Land Rover Discovery I Cooling & Heating Radiator, Hose Parts Available from RoversNorth.com - Land Rover Parts | Rovers North
Pre-'96 and you dont need to know your EVAP code, you are non advanced EVAP, '96 to '97 you MUST KNOW your code, '98 and later are all AEVAP (advanced evaporative loss)

"Put a plug in it" Savannah Buzz I was thinking the same thing. I really don't want to put a new radiator in with the old hose. I will give it the old college try.
