Going to Moab this Labor day. Never been before.

Other than a High jack, winch, basic tools what are some of the best things you've brought on a trip like that.

 

Trim *take off* your bumpers if you don't have heavy duty ARB or so. The rocks are unforgiving and like to scratch bumpers. Skid plates are a must! Skid plates and rock sliders. That way if you hit something your more protected. If you go with just a lift, you could still hit something AND be less protected.

 

Moab has a lot of trails of varying difficulty. Choose the ones that fit your comfort level and how your truck is set up.
I'd bring a 5 gallon jug of potable water. Either you or your truck could end up needing it.
And a camera, its beautiful.
