Well I got the pump out now I cant get the filter off. It took a day to get the bracket that holds the filter to the frame. Is there anywhere I can get the fuel filter kit other than AB or is that my best option. The PO had it sitting for two years before I bought it so its on there pretty damn good.

Just a Chevy filter, auto zone has em on the wall peg board, iirc we cut my filter off and got new funds with tubing on it shoved into rubber line and double fuel injection clamped

Last night I had this terrible nightmare !!!!!

I was attacked by this monster Huge "Tick" in the shape of a Disco 1
It grabbed me, sunk his sucking teeth into me and sucked me dry.
Then in a very gentle manner picked me up and put me onto his back.
And in a more gentle voice asked me where I wanted to go, even if it is the highest mountain, he will take me.

And what a lovely, comfortable ride I had !!!!!

Now I wonder ? was it a nightmare or a blessing to be a Disco owner.

The spark to this dream was the fact that I need to replace Rear universal joints again after 9 months. (Had it balanced the same time)

I see your location and assume your rover lives offroad , always buy the best quality on u joints and grease them alot , these vehicles are a pain when broke down a lot but awesome when running right

Made some spring wedges yesterday. As you lift your truck the pinion points at the diff more and the lower spring perch angles towards the resr of the truck. These go between the axle and the perch to bring it back to level. Takes a spring that looks like ")" to "l".
One set it for Ian, the taller set is for me. I'm going to remove the ones I have and sell them along with the extra set pictured.

*I didn't get a pic after drilling the mounting holes.

Yes, 80% off road and the rest high way (If you can call our roads High ways)
Did all the expensive mods to survive the off roads and the Disco behaves well.

Had a trip South last week and this time of the year is our peak rain. Had 150 mm Monday and the roads became rivers. The bonnet was under water more than once. Pic of my return home.

Best 110v compressor I could find.

Yeah much progress on metal rover. Passenger side almost done. Just need to strip and paint roof silver with satin clear coat to match. Pics soon.
