You'd may be surprised how capable it is already. Big tires have big compromises.

Very true. But for the whole 5 min I had the bigger tire on. It looked awesome. Lol. But I'm happy with the one's on there now.

Removed fan cutch (sawzall), water pump, balancer, timing cover, oil pan, timing gears and chain.

Broke the cam sprocket and distributor drive gear in the process.

Cleaned timing cover and installed new crank seal. Cleaned and painted oil pan. Installed new oil hoses on radiator side.

Drained and filled rear axle with 75-140. New U-joint in the rear drive shaft. Greased joint and shaft with marine grease. Power washed engine and undercarriage. You can eat off my rover now.

Finished removing all four shocks and bolted springs in preparation of the lift kit getting here. Man I really hate locknuts or what ever they are called. I cant believe how many are used on this truck. They are all getting tossed. Lock washer and a regular nut.

Sawzall to remove the fan clutch!? That doesn't sound good.

Ive gotten used to working on flat rate pay. We don't screw with stuck fasteners for very long. Tried a wrench, then a few whacks with a chisel, then said screw it Ive got better things to do.

This is one of those "Im replacing almost everything anyway, good or bad" projects, so it would've been tossed anyway.

Lock washers don't work. Use locknuts, either the nylocs or the tri-oval metal type, plus Loctite.
