Installed a 3 way switch.
Compressor On / OFF / Power to in-cab winch controls On

After my winter trip last month I noticed grease slung on the outside of my wheel. Pulled the wheel to this major WTF moment!!

Also picked up 6" of 4" round aluminum to make some spring spacers and wedges.

What is Auto shift interlock ? Must have something to do with the Brass Box there as that's what's missing on the new one.

( It is a '95 Discovery 1 Series.)
Keeps you from taking the key out until you put it in park, because Uncle Sam thinks we are too stupid.

Attempted to replace my fuel pump, but no luck. I guess I need a little more liquid wrench.

Couldn't get the retaining ring off?? Is the ring metal or plastic? If it's plastic just break it and buy a new one. Mine is metal. I had to use a punch and 2# hammer and really beat on it to break it loose.

Its metal and the other thing I use when lubricant doesnt work is heat and for some reason I dont think that would work for me in this instance. But I might try to punch it off.

Put the punch at one if the raised tabs. Hit it in a counter-clockwise direction. You may have to really what it. It should start to turn.

Don't be scared. Use the punch and beat on it with a punch. It will turn. If you thrash the ring, I have one I can sell you for cheap.

Oh yeah, don't pull on the the two spigots to get the pump out. If it's really a pain, I use a small panel pry tool, wedge under the top lip and pry up. Do this at points all around the perimeter. If you are changing the whole assembly, then I guess you won't care if you break it.
