Default Codes / Thermalweld

Took my '99 D1 to a local auto parts store to get the codes read for the Check Engine Light. Codes 1179, 1187, and 1317 came up, but of course they can't tell me what they mean specifically for my truck. Looked around in here, but didn't find anything to tell me specifically what these codes are. Can anyone point me in the right direction to decipher these codes for my '99 D1?

Also, the '94 that has a blown head gasket was put on Craig's List. And I get this one reply, from someone who's apparently a distributor for some product called Thermalweld. Says if the truck can run for 15 minutes, and based on the description I put in the ad, he says he can fix it for $265. So I clicked on the website, (Head Gasket Repair | Original 2-Part Formula | Call 877-220-9944), and whaddayaknow, there's a video clip of their product being used on a Discovery, lol! Even though they have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, my gut is telling me this is snake oil. Anyone have experience, either direct or indirect, with this stuff?

Jesus, you'd think they could be a LITTLE more specific...so in order to clear the code, I'd have to screw around with EVERY one of those possible code sources, then have the codes read again to see if it's fixed? You'd think they could be a bit more specific, what with all this modern technology and all. Screw it, I'll just drive it with the light on until it starts acting up...

Well, Irok ND 285/75 are mounted up and on. First impressions, most of them balanced up good with not much weight (one has a mayan city on it). These tires are not nearly as loud as I was expecting drove up to the store and they were barely noticeable only slightly louder than road tires and significantly quieter compared to Treadwright Guard dogs. They also ride nice and they track straight. So far so good and I'm impressed.

I also finished up wiring my winch solenoid and plug socket under the drivers seat.

And I hooked up my CB radio

Im not sure if I ever posted a picture of my head unit but I did that recently too and it sounds much better.

Hooked up my extended brake lines from Lucky8

Bolted on my front and rear Terrafirma diff guards from Lucky8 although the front was missing the two M8-20 bolts it wasn't too bad since I remembered the transfer case inspection window bolts were M8-20 so I just used some of those.

Lastly I got these penguin statues from Lucky8 as well and I haven't figured where to put them.

If anyone has any tips for mounting a 285/75r16 to the stock tire carrier let me know

Edit: I was able to space it out with some washers (3 on each stud) enough so that it wouldn't grab the bumper as much now it opens and closes quite easily although, I'm pretty sure I am going to get a new strain of malaria or west nile virus now, there were a TON of mosquitos out this am.

Let me guess, some Sh*tPart or AllCrap the first go around? I did the same thing and mine are toast. Lasted about as long, too. I've got some Poly bushing from Ebay waiting to go in.

Installed my RTE diff guards. The local trailer shop did the welding and accidentally made a small hole in the rear diff. Drained the oil, welded over, filled back up. Good to go!
